Environmental project in partnership with BTCV.

Last year (2002) the youth group was approached by BTCV, an environmental agency with a view to developing a project in partnership with them.

BTCV provided the youth group with media skills training prior to embarking on a video project, which aimed to look at “Govanhill through the eyes of young people”.

The 10 minute video/DVD encapsulates many relevant issues such as poor quality housing, graffiti, vandalism, and racism, which has been viewed by many and also shown at last year’s Equal Futures Conference in Edinburgh.
