Tenant and Resident Participation Strategy

Govanhill Housing Association is fully committed to working in partnership with its tenants and residents.

The commitment stems from the Association’s belief that the opportunity for such participation is a basic right for all our customers and is beneficial to all parties involved.

Our strategy uses a number of mechanisms to engage with our customers.

- Share Membership in the Association
- Ability for residents to serve on our Management Committee
- Provision of Information
- Consultation with customers
- Assistance in the setting up and running of Residents’       Associations
- Assistance in the setting up and running of Tenants’ Associations and Registered Tenant Organisations
- Ongoing consideration of our Tenants and Residents views
- Provision of resources to sustain ongoing consultation with our customers
