The Association maintains its own individual houses
and flats together with common building elements within
the closes which we factor.
Stock Condition - We have a comprehensive programme of Major Repairs (see Development and Regeneration Services pages for more details) and we are installing new kitchens and bathrooms in our flats to meet the aspirations of our current and prospective tenants.
We also have installation programmes for central heating, security door entry systems, and smoke alarms to increase the comfort and safety of our tenants. We intend to bring all of our houses up to the national Housing Quality Standard set by the Scottish Executive over the next few years.
Cyclical
Maintenance
ensures that our properties are kept safe and in good repair,
hopefully preventing problems from occurring through on-going
maintenance on a cyclical basis. Click

Major
Repairs deal with the replacement of building components
at the end of their serviceable life. Through our Development
and Regeneration Section we are currently replacing bathrooms and kitchens
for our tenants. Click here for details of our current
development programme.
Reactive
Repairs deal with repairs which require to be attended
to as they arise. These include repairs such as burst pipes,
defective taps, blocked drains and electrical faults. Such
repairs are normally pre-inspected, by one of our team based
Maintenance Inspectors, prior to the issue of a repair line
to one of our Contractors. Reactive Repairs are issued within
three priority bandings, which are dependent on the severity
of the repair concerned: Emergency
,
Urgent and Routine
