The Association has now finalised its proposals for new housing on the vacant site at the corner of Cathcart Road and Butterbiggins Road. Planning Consent has been approved by Glasgow City Council for a landmark residential development of 35 amenity flats, including wheelchair accommodation, fully accessible over 7 storeys. The proposed development also has provision for a roof garden and amenity deck. The new accommodation will be for affordable rent and is designed for older tenants.

Ground consolidation works have already been completed and the development is due to start on site in June 2011 with completion 12 months later.
