Govanhill Community Development Trust is a wholly owned subsidiary of Govanhill Housing Association. It was set up in 1992 to develop initiatives supportive of but additional to those of the Association.

Our mission is "to create opportunities for local people to improve and develop their own quality of life".

The Trust is involved in areas other than housing, which contribute to the social, economic and environmental development of Govanhill. These fall into two main categories:

• Workspace Management and development
• Community regeneration
