Important Information about Damp and Mould
At Govanhill Housing Association, we take all issues relating to dampness, mould and condensation seriously. We are committed to working in partnership with our tenants to identify and address these issues as early as possible.
Across Scotland, around 1 in 11 homes are affected by dampness, mould or condensation. We have put together an information sheet with further details about how you can identify and prevent damp and mould in your home.

What to do if you have an issue with damp and mould.
If you notice signs of damp, mould or plumbing issues please report to us without delay on 0141 636 3636 .
Our staff will:
- Ask you a number of questions about your home and the problem you are experiencing. This information helps us better understand the nature and cause of the issue, allowing us to identify the most appropriate solution and provide support as quickly as possible.
- We will also ask you when the best time for us to attend your home.
- We will then arrange for an inspection to be carried out to your home where we will look for the causes.
- We will discuss these with you and advise you what will happen next.
